As an Iranian-American I have always been aware of my other-ness. “Other” is a 150 page book exploring my identity as a first generation Iranian-American daughter of immigrants. In a deep dive to find the answers of who I am, I looked to the past, present, and future dissecting my childhood and family, my relationship with food, and the history and politics of the relationship between America and Iran.
